The Climate Curl Quiz asks whether your answers may be used in published research. Here is what that means.

About

How climate, humidity, travel and changes in hair texture affect how curly and wavy hair behaves, and why a routine that suits one place often gives different results in another.

The research is conducted by Shana Bannert Buxser, founder of Field Study Beauty. The quiz is operated by Lux Naturally, LLC.

If you say yes: Your answers to the research questions may be included in published findings. These questions cover your curl pattern, density, length, Day 2 issues, how wet your hair is when you style, the products you use now, changes in texture, travel, your biggest frustration and how confident you feel about your hair. Your name and email will not be used. Findings are reported as patterns across many people, not as individual answers.

If you say no: Your answers are used only to create your quiz results. The research questions are cleared before your answers are saved, so they are never included in any research.

Either way, you get the same results. We save your result, your climate zone, your indoor air answer and your yes or no choice, so we can send your results by email. We do not sell your data.

You can withdraw at any time. Email hello@fieldstudybeauty.com and we will remove your answers from the research data.
